Culture Shock Dance Center will be closed Monday, May 28th in observance of Memorial Day. The studio will be open Friday and Saturday, May 25th and 26th and will reopen Tuesday, May 29th.
Culture Shock Dance Center is San Diego’s premier contemporary dance training facility. Contemporary Technique class will begin with exercises meant to bring attention to and challenge the ways in which dancers balance, are clear and efficient in their practice and performance. We will do standing phrases, stretch and learn choreography that travels across the floor to explore dynamic, quality, phrasing and how we use time and intention.
Culture Shock Dance Center has been teaching San Diegans to breakdance for years. Their hip-hop dancers have won MTV competitions and performed in music videos. Choose a studio with a professional “floating floor”. A floating floor is a dance floor that rests on a system of high-density foam, to absorb the shock of jumping.
